Note: 

• For both rats and mice, we REQUIRE that you purchase at least 1lb of Mazuri 6F if you do not have it at home (Mazuri Rat and Mouse has different fat and protein content).

• For rats, we recommend also purchasing at least 1lb of our homemade food mix to make the transition as easy as possible for the pups as they are used to having both. We primarily give our homemade mix as a treat to our mice, so its a nice extra, but not a significant portion of their diet. 

• All items are available to adopters for local pickup. If you wish to purchase individual items post adoption there will be a $5 fee for orders under $20

• Many supplies can be picked up in-person from Personal Beast pet store in SE Portland  (BONUS - some of our ratties live there!)

• Please let us know if you would like to purchase any additional supplies before pickup as we bag everything fresh.

Carriers are not intended as permanent housing. They are perfect for short trips and for holding animals while cleaning cages. 

• Large Carrier (for rats) - $25

Food

All of my rats and mice eat a base diet of Mazuri 6F. My rats are also given the homemade mix as a significant portion of their diets, while my mice are given it as a treat 2-3 times per week for does and once per week for bucks. Treats are all given sparingly as overindulging will cause obesity.

Bedding, Litter and Enrichment

Bedding and litter is sold as a sample to provide pups with something they are familiar with and for adopters to see what products I use. I do not currently sell full bags of bedding, or pine pellet "litter".
